This is truly a wonderful course. Sometimes I found myself wondering how it could help, but, and I think this is imperative, I stuck with it and did the 'homework'. The results have been exceptional and I'm feeling so much more positive, more content and my sleep has improved out of sight. Thank you.

I still have problems with depression, however I found the course very helpful. I have been looking back at papers I have previously written and have begun to rewrite and also continue writing them. I am also trying to learn piano keyboard, another project I have an interest in. I am following my doctor's instruction, as well as reading items on Mindful.

There is no silver bullet in the ongoing quest for improved mental wellbeing. With that thought in place, be 'mindful' this course is not for everyone, and most certainly not when used in isolation. I do however recommend those signing up stay open minded and take what they can from it moving forward. Every weapon in your armoury is useful if you know how and when to use it.

Mentally I had sunk to a depth I could not handle, I was drowning. I was very skeptical about Mindfulness, and doing the on-line course. I considered it too fluffy, and not for me. However, I persevered and now consider myself a convert. At the end of the four weeks I'm still having problems, but I've been able to go back to work, and am in control of my life again. I am improving, and by continuing to practice Mindfulness am confident I will become mentally stronger. As one of the videos said, it's not something you do on a Sunday, it's like cleaning your teeth, you need to do it at least once every day. I definitely recommend everybody who considers they're stressed (that is most of us) gives it a go, a proper go, all four-weeks, and not abandon after the first week.

I found this course amazing for my wellbeing. It has brought me back from a dark place. I have learnt how to deal with every day events in a mindful manner and not to be hard on myself. I will continue to practice in every day life as the benefits are truely eye opening.

After losing my son to suicide, I was very stressed and felt I couldn’t cope with things. Ironically, my son had often encouraged me to try mindfulness and I never got round to it. I decided to try this course and, although I have had to repeat each week a few times and it’s taken me 11 weeks to complete the course, I liked that, as I felt I could take each week at my pace. Once I felt I had grasped the exercises and activities for a particular week, I moved on to the next week. Today, I have competed the course and I am happy to find my stress level has halved, my anxiety level has almost halved and my depression level is over 2/3 lower than it was at the start of the course. It’s not a quick fix and, as you are told during the course, you need to practice little and often to get the benefit, but mindfulness is something you can practice for the rest of your life and improve as you go along. I think it’s a vital tool to have in today’s stressful world. I can highly recommend this course. It doesn’t cost much and it’s money well spent. To end, I just want to say a big thank you for my wonderful son, Justin, for recommending this course. I know he is right by my side and proud of me for sticking to it and completing the course.

Thank you for Mindfulness very much, indeed. Seriously, it saved my life. I was thinking about taking my life when starting, but I now see my life more rationally. There are only a few Japanese psychiatrists who practice this method. There are a few psychiatrists who become rich as is in the U. S. Thus they are desperate to make money. To get more profits, most of them have to see more patients a day and prescribe more medicines. In my homeland, I am in lost translation. On Japanese websites, there is 0 pragmatic information / advice to support us. Therefore I have to read British, American, and Canadian websites to understand how I am and what I should do. I was lucky to understand English and to come across Mindfulness. Thank you very much again for the mindfulness journey. It is supporting me much better than a Japanese psychiatrist. I will continue Mindfulness in my daily life, and also tell how effective this Mindfulness is to my bilingual friends. Good luck for your royal family and Brexit. Hope that Boris can sort out NHS issues as he promised.

A great course that has really helped me during a time of anxiety and stress due to health issues. Mindfulness has brought me back to the centre and allowed me to focus on the now and not what may happen in the future. The things you teach are good in the real world but what I need is someone to listen to my story of how I have got myself into such a place were I cant seem to escape. At the start of the course I had a lot of stress and anxiety from work and some personal, but with the help of Tessa and Ed, the mindful exercises and three step breathing space, it was very helpful. Have an open mind with the course and the willingness to do it and you should be ok.
