Thank you very much for letting me join this mindfulness program. It has been a kind of big life shift for me. I had never thought of I was in the autopilot mode. Before having this program, I didn't take care of my body and breathing. This program taught me the importance of feeling my emotions and body sensations without judgement or criticism. Now I know how to practice and being mindfulness at all times. Tessa and Ed, you have taught me to be gentle to myself and the others, too. Once again, I would express my gratitude for what you are providing. I am looking forward to continuing practice mindfulness with your way. I would like to recommend trying to take this mindfulness program to everyone. It was amazing my anxiety, depression, and stress level has decreased after the program.

Taking part in the Be Mindful programme has been a truly positive experience. It gave me the tools and space to slow down, make time for myself, and find a sense of calm in the midst of a busy life. I had a roommate in college years ago that would light up a candle and stare at it and try not to think of anything. That was my understanding of mindfulness and meditation. Besides a better understanding of what this is and how useful it is, I found two things powerful for me, one is that I am not my thoughts, and I can use a simple thing like mindful breathing to get out of a stressful situation or circle of negative thoughts.

I think it's fair to say that it took me a long time to get through this program but I'm so glad I saw it through to the end. I made a point of getting through each stage at my own pace, even if that meant halting it for a week or two, or keep doing the exercises at one stage until I felt I was comfortable to move on to the next. Eventually I started to feel the difference and understand what I was supposed to do (they did explain, I just didn't get it for a while) and I got to the point where I really looked forward to doing even just 10 mins a day. I'm very glad I completed the program: I definitely feel calmer, more positive and more resilient. I'll be continuing with mindfulness practice going forward.
