I found the Mindful course to be helpful and grounding. It helped me stop getting out of control and stressing about life. It helped me come back to myself and have control with my body and my surroundings. Well worth the time spent on the course and knowing the techniques for the future

Thank you for your help through the Be Mindful course. I have struggled to remain disciplined and include the exercises in my daily life. But still I think I have gained some insight into myself. The meditations and breathing I will practice until they become a normal part of my daily routine. It's strange I have difficulty with routine at the same time as struggling with change. There seems to be a contradiction with my thinking. I fear change, and feel safer with certainty. Life is always changing, when I can welcome change( as it can be good) and embrace the unpredictability of life things will work out better. As far as the course goes, I found the instruction easier than the things I had to do in my own time. It was more compelling to do them with you rather than on my own. Maybe revisiting the exercises and meditations daily with you rather than alone until they become a regular part of our daily routine. I am not sure the online learning suits my needs, as opposed to real people in person. I found the emails confusing sometimes I wasn't sure who I was talking to and how they related to the online course. My journey continues. Thank you all for your help and advice. I hope this isn't the last of it I was starting to warm to the presenters.

I can truly say that I would, without hesitation, recommend this course to anyone who, like me, suffers from time to time with anxiety issues or who may occasionally feel overwhelmed by negative thinking. I looked forward to every session and can confirm that mindfulness practise has become as important a part of my day as eating, sleeping and enjoying good company. Of course, practise is essential, to get the most from any course. I ensured I remembered to practise by making some flash cards, putting them in a box and randomly selecting 2or 3 exercises to practise each day. Going forward? I plan to study for a Mindfulness Diploma so that I can 'spread the word' and open up a new way of life for anyone looking for a new way of taking care of themselves as they travel along their own pathway....and, of course, continuing to practise regularly myself!!!

This course has really helped me. At the start I was feeling helpless, hopeless, I was not in a good place. I felt mentally and physically sick. At the start of the course it was not easy, with the tasks given, but that was due to how overwhelming life felt. I was unsettled, fidgety and not able to concentrate 100% to begin with. I really wondered if this course was for me, but I stuck it out. Over the days and weeks, I continued on with the tasks and it has certainly done me the world of good. Near the end of the course something happened in my life that would have certainly have knocked the stuffing out of me and made me feel really low, but I found myself accepting it and moving on. Water off a ducks back so to speak. I’m stronger and happier with life. I feel I am able to deal with anything. I have been given important tools to cope and manage in life, no matter what.

I have really enjoyed the mindfulness course with Ed and Tessa. I definitely can feel a difference in the way I am. My concentration is so much better and I can get to sleep within minutes by doing the mindfulness breathing. I am overall so much more focussed and am more aware of being ‘in the moment’, not worrying about the past or what might happen and if my mind wanders I can quickly bring it back to focus on the task in hand. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone and have already got two of my friends to sign up.

Hi. Thank you for the opportunity. I have completed face to face before but struggle with motivation and attendance. The reminders worked well when I was able to engage at my own pace and space. Some of the notes on last link did not seem to open. I will be seeking online input again and the parachute analogy really clicked for me.
