Excellent course, it has really helped my understanding of all that mindfulness is. I was going through a really stressful period when i started. Be Mindful was an easy course to follow and well presented by both Tessa and Ed. It not only demonstrated how much we miss in absorbing the pleasures and blessings in life often led by stress affecting our mood and ability to cope on a day to day. The 4 weeks were gentle and productive with tips, videos to view and practical exercises to follow. Any enquiries were responded to very quickly and the course remains available online to access afterwards. Anybody looking at my pre and post course scores could conclude that I barely benefitted from the course, but that's not the whole picture. I started the course when I was living in a very stressful situation which unfortunately deteriorated while I was completing the course. I can honestly say that without the course, I would have been in far more distress. The daily sessions were an oasis of calm and rationality which I treasured. The conclusion of the course has coincided with a much-needed change in my environment, and as I write this, I feel composed, optimistic and ready to continue to practice the techniques the course taught me. Thanks, Ed and Tessa, for getting me through and setting me up for a more positive future.

I have found this course to be most stimulating, interesting and helpful. In particular, keeping an online journal has been therapeutic. The video exercises have also been helpful.

Thank you so much for the course! I did one of Tessa's face to face courses in London several years ago but recently felt in need of a boost as my practice had been slacking - this was perfect as it made me commit, and complete many more minutes of mindfulness than I would have alone. It has been great and I have really enjoyed it - and actually look forward to the practices each day!

Before the course I had done meditation on Headspace and also TM, but I think this mindfulness course really focused in on my stress and anxiety so that I started to realize the I needed to change how I perceived the world and that meditation on its own was not necessarily benefitting me fully. Now I feel I am starting to think differently and see the world in a clearer light. I think the course was very well structured and found the library easy to re-visit to access the recordings and listen to them. I have enjoyed it immensely as has my wife as she has seen the changes in me and how it has helped. I have now started reading the Mark Williams and Danny Pennman book on Mindfulness.

The Be Mindful course was great for a beginner like me. It made me more aware of my breathing and reminded me to pay attention to my feelings and how that makes my body feel. I will continue to be mindful everyday, be kinder to myself and develop this valuable practice. Thank you

This was a really great, usefull and calming cause. I went into it feeling really overwhelmed with anxiety, and didn't really know what to expect but knew I needed help. This course gave me the space and time to learn mindfulness at my own speed, and provided me with great tools and reassurance. I think the best thing I've taken from this course is the ability to be kind to myself when it is most needed and how to move away from overanalysation which can often be scaring and unhelpful.

I did this course at a time when almost every part of my life was falling apart so rapidly that I could not adjust and ended up with a complete nervous breakdown. The course did not solve my life challenges and it did not succeed in significantly lowering my stress levels as the external stressors are still there. But the course gave me tools to calm down long enough to allow myself to see that there can be a way back to a liveable life. And that's a gift worth receiving when you've lost hope.

At the start of the exercise I was greatly troubled and anxious. I was also not sleeping well. Throughout the course I kept an open mind to the exercises offered and contributed enthusiastically. As a result I managed to obtain a great deal out of the course and managed to reduce my stress levels and anxiety. By the end of the course I was also sleeping better, although not perfectly. I would certainly recommend Mindfulness as a support structure in addressing anxiety and stress levels.
