This course has really helped me. At the start I was feeling helpless, hopeless, I was not in a good place. I felt mentally and physically sick. At the start of the course it was not easy, with the tasks given, but that was due to how overwhelming life felt. I was unsettled, fidgety and not able to concentrate 100% to begin with. I really wondered if this course was for me, but I stuck it out. Over the days and weeks, I continued on with the tasks and it has certainly done me the world of good. Near the end of the course something happened in my life that would have certainly have knocked the stuffing out of me and made me feel really low, but I found myself accepting it and moving on. Water off a ducks back so to speak. I’m stronger and happier with life. I feel I am able to deal with anything. I have been given important tools to cope and manage in life, no matter what.

I have really enjoyed the mindfulness course with Ed and Tessa. I definitely can feel a difference in the way I am. My concentration is so much better and I can get to sleep within minutes by doing the mindfulness breathing. I am overall so much more focussed and am more aware of being ‘in the moment’, not worrying about the past or what might happen and if my mind wanders I can quickly bring it back to focus on the task in hand. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone and have already got two of my friends to sign up.

Hi. Thank you for the opportunity. I have completed face to face before but struggle with motivation and attendance. The reminders worked well when I was able to engage at my own pace and space. Some of the notes on last link did not seem to open. I will be seeking online input again and the parachute analogy really clicked for me.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every element of this course and continue to incorporate the principals I have learned daily, in both my formal and informal practices. I had no previous experience of the mindfulness discipline before embarking on this course and was unsure as to whether or not it was something I could engage with , so I approached with an open mind. I am very glad I enrolled! I would highly recommend this course, as I have found the guidance invaluable in helping me to achieve a sense of calm and balance and to reflect upon changes I can make to slow things down and be present throughout the day. It has also provided me with tools to respond to the stresses of daily life in a more measured and compassionate manner. As a consequence, I feel enabled to interact with others -(particularly in any difficult circumstances which might arise)-with greater integrity and equanimity, rather than allowing 'auto-pilot' responses, acquired unwittingly, to dominate . When I began , I did not realise just how beneficial this course would prove to be . For me , it is the beginning of a lifelong commitment to the practise of mindfulness .

I have really enjoyed learning techniques that have helped me to 'live in the moment' and relax. I have found the body scan particularly useful in bed when I have had trouble sleeping, it is a good form of meditation. Tessa and Ed are great teachers, they have lovely calming voices and provided excellent videos which I found really useful. Now I am on my mindfulness journey I intend to continue. Thanks a lot.

The main thing I think is practice -the more you put in to it the more you get out of it. It's a great set of tools to have in your mind but like all tools they have to be oiled and sharpened. This course has taught me a lot about myself and how to control my stress levels. It doesn’t always work but like anything the more you practice the better things get. My anxiety levels have dropped slightly but over time I’m convinced this will get better. It is brilliant that you can do the course in your own time and not feel forced to rush through it. The video instructions are so easy to follow and the best thing is you can always look back on your library to remind you of the different exercises. Thank you so much.
