I found this course to be very helpful in practicing and understanding mindfulness. I hated even the word "mindfulness", ha-ha. Like "who are you to tell me how to breathe"! but I put those feelings aside and do embrace mindfulness a little bit more. no "a-ha" moments, but a few times a day, when i may get unnerved, it does cross my mind and I breathe..unless i think of it after the fact! I am glad we are able to keep our information, I plan to practice one thing once a day and hope that it becomes simply natural to me eventually. Thank you so very much!

This course has been a game changer for me. It has considerably reduced my anxiety levels and has given me the confidence to manage my feelings and emotions. Very clearly set out. The presenters were calm and I felt that they cared - even through a recording. I liked the gentle reminders to complete the course and I did not feel under pressure to finish.
Very enjoyable and a useful introduction to Mindfulness. I will continue with my journey and love the fact I can still access the materials.

I found this to be a great refresher course for the eight week group Oxford Mindfulness course I completed a few years ago, which I found lifesaving at the time. The exercises are easy to follow and the course helped with my motivation to get back into the habit of practicing Mindfulness in the everyday, which I find very calming. I try to do a regular Mindfulness practice for an hour once a week but sometimes this isn't always enough to cope with the things outside of my control, such as work pressures and Covid 19 stress. It has reminded me to 'take a breath and relax' about the things I can't change! Overall I am glad I did this course. My mood has definitely improved from where I was at the beginning and I would recommend a mindfulness course to anyone who is currently struggling with their mental health.

As a beginner at Mindfulness I didn't know what to expect but this course was so helpful with the starting steps to learning how to Be Mindful. Each section was explained with clear instructions and each sessions was easy to do.. yes my mind did wander but by bringing it back with the breath was something I could do. I now have tools to use when I become anxious or stressed. I would recommend this course if you are wanting to start out with Mindful living.

A brilliant course and one of the best things I’ve ever done to relieve my anxiety. Being able to do it at your own pace at a time that’s right for you is perfect. I did this course a few years ago and it was the most helpful thing I have done. Much better than taking medication. After finishing the course you can choose from your library the ones that you find the most helpful. Years later, when things get too stressful I know I can always just go into my library and do a relaxation meditation which always helps. Thank you Mindfulness.

I found the course very helpful, reinforcing some of my natural inclinations and building others, to have tactics to use during stress, and a strategic doctrine of seeing life as a whole. I had difficulty completing the course as a straight through sequence, due to work and illness, but the Team guided me through this and gave the support and encouragement I needed, including personal emails. I decided to do this course during a time things at work were really stressful and it was the middle of the lockdown. I found the course was easy to follow and fitted in with my lifestyle as it was online and used videos and audio. I wasn’t able to complete the course in 4 weeks it took me 7 weeks but I found the material useful and it made me reflect on how I was managing my stress and how I was responding. Over the time of the course and following the exercises I felt calmer and more accepting of work and family pressure as well as being more aware. I haven’t always followed though on the exercises as much as I should, since ending the course but it is something i know it is my ‘go to’ when I start to feel anxious about something. I would recommend this course.

For me, the events of a particular week or day can fluctuate my state of mind. Throughout the course, if I was to do a daily quiz, the results would be up and down but the course has helped me to focus and conduct a "reality" check of a particular situation and has helped me deal with a particular situation even if if its something I cant control. The body scan works for me when I'm struggling to sleep. I think about my body starting at my toes and I can't recall a time where I get to my head without having fallen asleep.
