The Be Mindful course was an excellent start to my mindfulness journey. All the advice and practices are simple to understand and can be done at a pace you are comfortable with. I found the course very helpful and have actually been able to use the exercises to reduce my stress levels. This course is designed to be a springboard to regular practice. I didn’t think I made much progress after four weeks, but I was interested, and pleased to see my stress, anxiety and depression scores lower at the end. I will definitely explore options to develop my understanding and practice. Thank you for a well structured and accessible course.

This is a really good course! It’s all done by email links and reminders so it’s there to give you a nudge but isn’t hassling. As long as you make some time to do the activities, it is really beneficial.

This course offers more than value for money. The benefits you gain from such a beautifully delivered programme helps you overcome stress, anxiety and living in auto-pilot by way of gentle guidance, delivered perfectly with the right pitch and tone. I did not realise that i was living on auto-pilot for years so as a result I had mental health issues because of that. This short course changed everything for me as I took on board Tessa and Ed's calm guidance and numerous words of wisdom. There are mind-changing parts of the course that is going to stay with me for a lifetime. One area that really put everything into context was the poem called The Guest House. The poem guides you gently towards the welcoming of threats and entertain them because these thoughts clear your mind ready for fresh new beginnings. It encourages you to welcome fresh new beginnings in their place. After absorbing this poem I found myself smiling broadly and now am ready to welcome fresh new beginnings of what lies ahead. The other mind-changing part of the course was the email sent which focused on a well-advised routine for preparing a parachute for a sky dive out of an aeroplane. When I put that into context it was conveying the message that mindfulness is exactly the same criteria. You need to practice and keep practising whether you are stressed or not. That way when there is a stressful period in your life, the preparation you have done for mindfulness will be instilled in your mind's eye so you will have all the tools available that you have learned. We all have our reasons for learning mindfulness, I had mine and always keep in the forefront of my mind why I enrolled on this course. I now feel motivated to keep practising and reach out to other members on social media so I can keep going and put into practice what I have learned and keep my mind calm and keep dipping back in to my Library on the course to refresh and practice all the techniques learned. This course is just the beginning of what else is to come in the fresh new beginnings and will prosper and grow because of this super course. I would like to pass on my grateful thanks to Tessa and Ed for being such great tutors and giving me an opportunity to move on to much bigger and better things. I hope you, the reader, find all the benefits from this course as well and should you join and complete the course it would be a great step forward to see you and speak to you on the social media sites as well.

I was completely new to Mindfulness and had never suffered from anxiety until lockdown. The course was really great for a beginner like myself and it has helped to reduce the symptoms of anxiety I had begun to experience. The email reminders were really useful and I will continue to use some of the resources in the future.

This course is very flexible, with choices about when and how you access it. There is no pressure or expectations, just encouragement. The exercises are simple to follow & can be applied to everyday life. Learning to slow down & accept what is going on helps through what is currently a chaotic environment. thank you so much. I have practiced mindfulness in the past, was was skeptical about how much this corse would help me. But like Tess and Ed say it is a practice. I find my anxiety has gone down and I'm more able to challenge negative thoughts with gentle curiosity. I just hope i can maintain my practice now :)

I found it very hard to go to sleep and was constantly worried about things all the time. This made me feel stressed and have headaches. I was either overeating or not eating. However, this course and the exercises have helped me a great deal. I am able to go to sleep earlier than usual and actually feel the need to go to bed. I have found the whole course really beneficial. I am using the body scan regularly and am using other activities such as mindful movement and mindful walking. I use the breathing exercises all the time. Thank you!!! This has been a great experience.

Thank you for your help through the Be Mindful course. I have struggled to remain disciplined and include the exercises in my daily life. But still I think I have gained some insight into myself. The meditations and breathing I will practice until they become a normal part of my daily routine. It's strange I have difficulty with routine at the same time as struggling with change. There seems to be a contradiction with my thinking. I fear change, and feel safer with certainty. Life is always changing, when I can welcome change( as it can be good) and embrace the unpredictability of life things will work out better. As far as the course goes, I found the instruction easier than the things I had to do in my own time. It was more compelling to do them with you rather than on my own. Maybe revisiting the exercises and meditations daily with you rather than alone until they become a regular part of our daily routine. I am not sure the online learning suits my needs, as opposed to real people in person. I found the emails confusing sometimes I wasn't sure who I was talking to and how they related to the online course. My journey continues. Thank you all for your help and advice. I hope this isn't the last of it I was starting to warm to the presenters.
