Well put together online course. Some of the practices are really useful in helping me to manage stress and anxiety. I have been able to use the practices at night to switch off ruminating over the same unhelpful thinking and have actually had some sleep.

I thought initially that my anxiety levels weren't that bad, so I wondered if I should do this course. However, I hadn't taken time to step off the mad whirlwind of my life to really look at how things were. Through taking time to develop a more mindful approach, I first of all became tired, lethargic and angry with myself, yet as I worked through this I realised that everything was self inflicted. I now feel empowered to have that space to live my life to its fullest and I am much happier.

This course is both valuable and worthwhile to anyone who allows stress to rule their lives, but it can be helpful to everyone. The tools taught can help others as well as oneself, allowing friends and colleagues to help each other if the world suddenly seems overwhelming. We are all vulnerable in a such a busy materialistic world to anxiety and this can easily develop into panic. Whilst the course does not offer an instant solution to the initial problem it can surprisingly quickly allow the individual to explore what is really going on and help bring them into a state where the issue is explored more calmly. Understanding what is really going on can help enormously. It was well constructed, clearly and empathetically taught with tools that form a great support. I will hopefully continue with mindfulness practice for the rest of my life.

Thank you so much for a really life-changing course. It has helped me enormously to re-evaluate the way that I look at life, and has given me a profound understanding of how my thoughts completely overwhelmed my life. I look forward to my own mindfulness space every day, and my family are certainly noticing a change for the better. I am heading back to work after Easter after two months away, and although I am a bit anxious, I feel more confident knowing that I have some essential tools to help me. As you recommend at the end of the course, I will be starting a group course in two weeks time, and I am really looking forward to that. Good luck to whoever starts soon! You will be thrilled!

I work for a mental health charity in Coventry as a support worker. Part of my role is to help clients to improve the mental wellbeing. I have found this course to be an asset when communicating with clients about their needs. The downloads and exercises have made it easier for me to incorporate mindfulness into my work. An unexpected benefit is that I myself have found the course extremely useful for my own wellbeing. I practice the exercises regularly and have developed and enduring interest in mindfulness and meditation.

I had a feeling of pleasure each time an email from bemindfulonline popped up during my busy work schedule as I knew there would be a gift waiting for me to open. I had the anticipation of waiting until it was appropriate for me to make time for myself, close the door to the world and enter a secret garden. All the activities were acheivable and I was able to review and download too so was able to be in the moment with any video, instruction or acivity. I am now looking forward to continued daily paractice, sharing this with like minded others and maybe even training so that I am able to encourage others. Many thanks

Very good course and would recommend this course to anyone whether they are suffering from stress or not. It is a good way to live, being mindful and present instead of projection any worries or stresses that may be occurring in ones life later in the day or week. Being mindful allows one to be present and enjoy what is, not what may be.

I found the first week really annoying - I just slept through all the sessions and then found I could not sleep at night! Things settled down in week 2 and gradually improved as the course progressed. Progress has been good but slow. this is going to take months to really have an impact but I am determined to give it a go. Many thanks for all your help and support.

I found this course very helpful and it takes things to a base level where you can see things more clearly. It encourages you to take a different approach to life and I would recommend this to anybody, infact I already have recommended this to a few people.

A really good course to do - well thought out and simply delivered. It was a taster, and it did lead to my being more aware of when I am stressed! But it also gave me the opportunity to think about how I respond to difficult situations, and how I can take care of those responses. The course also demystified how meditation can work - I had not expected this.

Amazing results. I am particularly impressed to see that my stress levels have continued to decrease one month on. Although some of this may be due to me having recently left a stressful job, I certainly feel that what I learnt on the course, willl help prevent me building up such stress levels again.

I found this cause really useful and effective. I was diagnosed with cancer last year and am still undergoing treatment and it has been so helpful in keeping me calm and stress free. The excercises are easy to fit into my day and I practice them as often as I can.

This course has been a valuable tool for me as it has focussed me on how much time I've spent 'living in my head'. By slowly moving away from that and appreciating and enjoying the everyday things I do I am becoming more aware of the enjoyment of the everyday, simple things and less stressed and worried about the future. I feel calmer and more in control.

I was very sceptical about this when I started it so was very surprised at how valuable I have found it The most eye opening thing was realising that you cant make stressful situations go away but you can learn to live with them and not allow worrying about them to invade every part of your life it does take a bit of effort but some of the practice sessions are quite enjoyable. In spite of my doubts it does do what it says on the tin. My stress levels have halved since I started the course.

I decided to try the Be Mindful course as I was experiencing a great deal of stress of was aware that I was over-reacting to situations and feeling low about my own responses. Be Mindful really helped to shift the focus and take them time to consider my position and how I can take stock of the things going on around me that especially those that I felt I couldnt control, it helped me to bring myself into the situation and learn to accept and take care of myself better.

Enormous thanks to Be Mindful. I have found engaging in the course far easier than I imagined and it is so incredible to actually find that it can make such a difference to how you can feel. I would say to others to at least give it a try, however sceptical you might be. It is very private, all done to suit your timings whatever they are. Again my heartfelt thanks for this facility.

I think this course has started back on the route to mindfulness and for making the right choices in my life. It has been a short but valuable foundation for the next part of my journey.

A very gentle and self affirming way of tackling anxiety/stress, even in a month I have found the techniques useful and intend to keep them active by regular practice. The most valuable part has been to treat myself gently, something that hadnt really occurred to me before.

I have found the mindful online course very easy to follow. It has definately helped me become more mindful and less caught up in every day stresses. It doesn't take a lot of time up and I particularly liked the 'gentle reminders' that are emailed that have helped to keep me on course.

I didn’t feel particularly stressed at the beginning of the course however my score lowered at the end showing the benefits of mindfulness. I feel a lot calmer and very much in the here and now rather than worrying about the future.

Before starting I was "well stressing" score of 25, after with a score of 9! I find it really helpful to take a break from work and do my breathing, after returning from work following 9 months off with depression, my employers are now more mindful of my condition and the need to take a break, breathe things out. As a recovering / recovered alcoholic I find the new exercises helpful to keep my mind off my cravings.

I would recommend this 4 week online course very strongly not just to those suffering from stress, anxiety or depression but to anyone who lives in the modern world, trying to do and be their best, juggling all the demands of family and work. When I started the course I was in the middle of a relapse so perhaps I shouldn't have continued. However I found it helped me to reverse the progress and I am now definitely on the upward rather than the downward slope. It is the first therapy I have experienced which is based on love and compassion and therefore extraordinary in its effects. By learning to treat ourselves with love and compassion we can offer love and compassion to others and feel a real connection. That connection generates more love and compassion and so the cycle grows.

I work in a stressful environment, often dealing with acutely unwell mental health clients who need to be brought to hospital under section. Mindfulness has enabled me to be aware of my own stress levels and reduce them. This in turn has allowed me to be a more balanced professional, calmer, more grounded and kinder to myself. Difficult decisions still need to be made, and the client is always the centre of my focus, but afterwards when they are safe I can now bring the focus back to my body and my breathing. Mindfulness is a simple idea, not complicated, and it teaches us to not complicate things.

I was having trouble coping with the emotional after effects of breast cancer, work was getting on top of me & I felt anxious all the time. Mindfulness was suggested as a method of helping me cope - I looked at a couple of books & then found this online course.
Making the commitment to the course was really helpful - having tutors go through the practices with you, having weekly assignments so you could learn it in bite sized chunks etc both really helped my stress levels & made me feel empowered in that there was actually something useful I could do to help myself! I can't recommend it highly enough & do feel its given me tools I can use for the rest of my life.

I really found this course useful. I was unsure about the format and thought that it would be a little impersonal but that was not borne out. It’s very supportive and easily used. I hope to continue with mindfulness throughout my life.
