I am a GP about to semi retire early as I have not despite every best effort been able to make the job which I love bearable I did the course out of curiosity to see if it had something to offer me as well as the patients I strive to help It did help me and I would feel able to suggest it as an option to some of my patients I liked the body scan and the sitting meditation particularly As a trained dancer in the past, focusing into a discomfort or pain was interesting experience. I will definitely use some of the mindfulness practices taught in the future. The course is well constructed and despite being on line does somehow manage to feel personal, except of course it isn't really, Tessa and Ed don't know me!

The course was not exactly what I expected to be, I thought initially that it was going to be worthless. But I have to admit that it worked to me. I feel more conscious about what I am doing, saying, feeling, and it helped to made me feel relaxed and aware about my feelings. I actually managed to put down in words what is exactly the cause of my anxiety and depression, and analyse it, which I´ve never been able to do before. I can really feel a mindful change in myself. Thank you guys.

This course was recommended by my GP as I was going through a particularly anxious and stressful time in my work. I had never engaged in anything like this previously and was very sceptical. I found the body scan difficult to grasp initially but soon warmed to it and looked forward to doing it each morning. I try to to do the Mindful Movement each morning and find that it gets me ready for the day ahead. I now find myself mindful breathing without giving it too much thought and I seem to be able to appreciate much more of what is happening around me in respect of sights and sounds. I have become much less anxious and stressed and life is so much better. I enjoy the Sitting Meditation when I am having some "me time". Thank you both for introducing me to this way of life.

I was beginning to think nothing was going to ever help me shift the fairly constant feeling of anxiety (chest pain in my case) which was a pretty miserable way to spend most days. Now I feel I can move forward and have developed some skills to utilise when those feelings start creeping back again. Thank you.

Useful, and I can feel some benefits which I am sure will grow. Nice to take a step back and gain more compassion towards myself and my thoughts. I think the sensation of giving myself more space within a situation is subtle, and I hope it will grow a bit more. I think this is already well-developed in me but I think it could go further through being more conscious of mindfulness techniques. I am going to be more aware of activities which energise me and those which don't. Something I have not considered much in the past.

I found this course ideal to fit into my busy life. It's easy to follow and easy to catch up on if you miss a few days. The downloadable audio guides are particularly helpful and I have come out of the course feeling much more positive & able to deal with the stresses of life. For me the simple act of mindful breathing works wonders and I am delighted that I now recognise when I need to do it and that I do it gladly as I know the immense positive feeling it gives me.

I am surprised at the power of this course. It is so cleverly put together and I particularly love the simplicity and the repetition of the same mantras...be gentle to yourself, it's ok to feel this way, without judging it etc. these really helped out short little phrases in my head I could use when I needed to. The quotes during the week and the timeframes really helped keep me on track. So many times I've had a good intention and then lost motivation, this course is designed in such a subtle but clever war to lessen the chance of this happening and keeping me committed. Thank you so much it really has already made such a difference to how I cope and enjoy daily life.

I found this course very helpful, though in some ways it made me more aware of my stress and anxiety, so I felt worse in a way rather than better! Nonetheless I was glad to have done it and it was good value and very flexible. A couple of comments. 1. The videos and web stuff seems a bit clunky at times; 2. While the course claims not to be religious in any way, it is in fact overtly value laden and privileges certain kinds of thought, values and 'wisdom' from sources that are arguably at least 'spiritual' if not confined to any particular religion. I write this as a professional scholar of religion and theologian. 3. Some more rationale for what one is being asked to do and the theory of mindfulness would have helped me at times. But I am more than grateful to have done the course and I would recommend it to others, particularly those who are isolated or cannot commit to regular meetings.

This online course is ideally suited for people who do not mind doing the exercises on their own: No time wasted by having to go somewhere, no fixed appointments, exercise whenever you want to. Download the voice-guided exercises onto your mobile to use them while travelling. The presentations are well done, the voices are pleasant and the price seems reasonable.

I started this course after suffering with PTSD. I have suffered with depression on and off for years and I have found in the past meditation and yoga to help. At the time when I was at my worst, I could not control my feelings, I had issues in my life that I had not dealt with or accepted and I felt like I had failed the most important people in my life to the point that I thought they would be better off without me in this life. I was medically treated with a serotonin stabilizer and my family opted to care for me at home, which I am incredibly grateful to them for. Doing a Mindfulness course had been recommended to me and when I felt ready I chose this online course as I felt I was not in a place where I could share some of my thoughts with other people. The course has proved to be a really positive step forward for me and helped me to see things differently. It is meditation based and to begin with I thought what's the point in doing the course I know this stuff as I had practiced meditation previously. However the course is designed to give you set exercises to practise just at the right time and interval to assist you with maximum benefit and understanding. The emails I received were also great as they kept the course at the forefront of my mind and gave me little reminders to practice regularly. I am so pleased I stuck to the course and followed it through to the end, as my life and mental state is in a place I never thought I would get back to. I also saw a counsellor alongside doing this course and I had some Reiki treatments which have really worked for me.
