I started this course after suffering with PTSD. I have suffered with depression on and off for years and I have found in the past meditation and yoga to help. At the time when I was at my worst, I could not control my feelings, I had issues in my life that I had not dealt with or accepted and I felt like I had failed the most important people in my life to the point that I thought they would be better off without me in this life. I was medically treated with a serotonin stabilizer and my family opted to care for me at home, which I am incredibly grateful to them for. Doing a Mindfulness course had been recommended to me and when I felt ready I chose this online course as I felt I was not in a place where I could share some of my thoughts with other people. The course has proved to be a really positive step forward for me and helped me to see things differently. It is meditation based and to begin with I thought what's the point in doing the course I know this stuff as I had practiced meditation previously. However the course is designed to give you set exercises to practise just at the right time and interval to assist you with maximum benefit and understanding. The emails I received were also great as they kept the course at the forefront of my mind and gave me little reminders to practice regularly. I am so pleased I stuck to the course and followed it through to the end, as my life and mental state is in a place I never thought I would get back to. I also saw a counsellor alongside doing this course and I had some Reiki treatments which have really worked for me.

So powerful. I have suffered from stress, depression and anxiety, and since doing this course it is the first time I have felt that my anxious thoughts have almost completely gone. My self esteem is not a problem anymore and I've not had any depressive thoughts. A friend of mine said, when I met him in the pub (just drinking orange juice on this occasion), "Are you taking some sort of drug? You look so happy and relaxed." But I was just happy and content. Thank you so much, it was the best £60 I have ever spent.

This is a fantastic course. It provides the tools to escape the autopilot of everyday routine and its denial of living in the now. Tessa and Ed provide gentle and precise guidance leading us on a journey to be ourselves and develop awareness of how to be in the moment. I will use these skills for the rest of my life.

I found the course really useful as part of the treatment for PND. I have managed to avoid medication and feel much happier and more in control of things. I would definitely recommend it to others. Half and hour a day is all that is needed.

Be mindful online was there at a time when I was really struggling to cope with every day life. It has shown me a different, more healthy approach to use in times of stress. Some of the practices worked better for me than others. I will continue to stick with the daily practices so I have the skills available to me whenever I require them. Thank you for your help.

This has been a really helpful course. I loved the way it was not prescriptive and suggesting as to how you become mindful and what to think. Both presenters are great and I very much enjoyed their sessions. I was very stressed at the beginning of the course and am still working on mindfulness, but it is beginning to be part of my life, something I need and practise, even if not 'perfectly' whatever that is. This course has given me the confidence to accept that my way is the way for me. I have recommended this course to other people because of its quality. Thank you, Tess and Ed.

I felt the course was nicely paced, calmly presented, and very 'human.' It has definitely helped me with my anxiety, and to put stress in perspective. Although I've meditated for some time, the course has given me a lot more tools to work with.

I found the course very well organised and presented. There was plenty of information along with the practices. I really appreciated the emails reminding me you were still online, when i got caught up with life and had forgotten to practise, and also that i could re-do past weeks. It's really helpful that the library is always there for me to refer back to. thank you.

I was advised to do this course by my GP. I was a little unsure to begin with but my advice to anyone would be to stick with it and make time daily to engage with it. The course has helped me very much and I will continue to practice all that I have learned. I am begining to enjoy life again without constantly worrying. Thank you to all those who have put this course together.

I started this course with sceptical optimism willing to try anything to help me to address my fears and anxieties. I was terrified of the world and had a very poor self image. I didn't believe I could cope with anything and tried to protect myself by avoiding life as much as I could. This course has changed this in a way that I find hard to describe. At first it was difficult but with perseverance I worked through it until it became part of my daily routine. At one point after a guided meditation I wept with relief and gratitude. I felt different - quietly confident that my feelings of fear were manageable and nothing to be frightened of. It was ok to feel whatever I was feeling. I cannot recommend this course highly enough. The results are amazing and I'm now able to face life's ups and downs with a sense of peace and acceptance.

This is a very easy course to follow. But sometimes you might not be in the mood. The different types of meditations, motivate you to practise daily.
