I was initially planning to sign up for a face-to-face course but the nearest date felt too far in time. And I found bemindfulonline.com and decided to join to start learning... I am very happy to have taken this course. It has felt just right in balancing the videos, assignments and mid-week emails. It has been well-thought through and gave me a real starting boost into my mindfulness practice, which I feel is right for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was my first experience of Mindfulness and I found the videos and weekly reviews extremely motivating and easy to use. I also liked that I could access information via the library - particularly useful on a couple of difficult days at work when I would take time on my lunch break to re-visit some techniques which helped a lot. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course to anyone who was interested in learning more about Mindfulness.

I just finished the Be Mindful course today. I started it in April 2013 and stopped for personal reasons, finding my way back to it in April 2016. I am very grateful that I did find my way back to it. What I've learned through experiences in the last 4 weeks is that it is possible to be serenely happy and contented for no particular reason, even in the midst of unfinished goals, or a day that doesn't seem to be going well. While on hiatus from the course, I've been practising mindfulness from different sources for about a year or more, so I'm not completely new to the practice, but I hadn't connected with it as deeply until now. The course helped make a small routine become a powerful, life-altering habit and explored many different ways of being mindful. Tessa and Ed are superb guides. I fully recommend it to anyone, novice or expert.

I would recommend this course. It is diffinately helpful in guiding you to be more relaxed in one's self. I think it teaches what is important and what isn't to let go. I began this cause after a difficult relationship break up and also after a major op. I found it really useful at helping me deal with day to day stress and anxiety. I can see my scores after completing the course have improved and I do actually feel I can cope more easily. The course was easy to do, didn't take up loads of time and gave a sense of achievement. You only get out of it what you put into it. Tessa and Ed were easy to listen to and helped me feel at ease. I would recommend this to anyone prepared to put aside time most days to practice. I have found this course to be a fantastic introduction to mindfulness. The mix of videos, exercises and written tasks kept it interesting and it is pitched at the right level for beginners. My name is Jane and I was recommended this course by my GP. I was vey sceptical about the course online and not face to face. The videos during the course really helped and the notifications by E mail prompted me to continue. The instructions were easy to follow and having the library to refer to was great. I now use mindfulness when I feel anxious especially at work.

I found the Be Mindful online mindfulness course very beneficial to me. Having suffered from depression and anxiety for many years, with the course contents' guidance I learned how - and importantly, why - mindful meditation works to calm the mind, and how to build a buffer space between receiving mental challenges and reacting detrimentally to them. I have found this course very useful. It has come at an extremely challenging time in my life as I recuperate from septicaemia. The lack of energy and chronic fatigue has been very difficult to cope with and overcome, especially after my return to work. Mindfulness has played a very big part in my convalescence. I have very much appreciated the 'after care' aspect of the course, as it has reminded me that I am slowly but surely getting better in all sorts of ways. My practice continues to deepen and I believe I have found a tool for life.
