There is not anywhere near enough support for people that are out of work due to physical/mental health issues, but this programme is a sign of hope. It's extremely helpful in terms of helping your mindset and feeling less isolated, and very validating. While I did experience some technical difficulties, the team were always very helpful and quick to respond, and I definitely feel like I have more in my toolkit for when things get hard. If this were available in app form, with daily check ins and reminders I think it could be extremely beneficial for all kinds of people.

I did the Be Mindful program as part of a study. I had recently been diagnosed with a heart condition and I found that program helped me reduce my mild anxiety and better manage work stress which I'm sure has helped my heart and overall happiness. I'm a Christian and I have not found anything in the program that contradicts my faith, In fact I've found it a helpful way to prepare my mind to pray to Jesus. Thank you :-)

The journey with Be Mindful has been a profound and transformative experience for me. It has helped me slow down, truly listen to myself, and bring more awareness into my daily life, even in difficult moments. Through simple but powerful practices, I learned to recognize my thoughts and emotions without judging them, developing greater presence, balance, and kindness towards myself. Be mindful has been an interesting and insightful experience. Not only did I learn some new techniques, it actually helped me solidify some of the things I have learned previously but didn't fully know how to apply to my life and daily coping strategies. It was a great reminder of those things for me and it helped the information 'click'. I really enjoyed the reflective elements as this helped me further the mindfulness practice and absorb the learning.

This resource has helped me through very difficult times. I’ve woken up early hours heart thumping feeling very anxious. And I’ve turned into the link and completed a body scan or breathing exercise and found it’s calmed me right down. Literally like ice through volcano veins! I’m so grateful. It’s saved me.

A great program for anyone struggling with motivation & encouragement. This helps with building daily habits if you are able to commit and plan effectively to include some of the practices in the study into your daily life then it will help in some way whether it’s a small change or really noticeable. My scores from the start and at the beginning changed quite drastically, I didn’t think anything close to that would be the outcome, even at the end I didn’t realise how much the programme has benefited me until it asked me, and I was able to see the difference in how I approach each day and how I get out of my bed at 7.30am. Long may it continue!

I feel like this mindfulness has been helped me be more open-minded taught me new techniques and skills to deal with stress emotions and just everyday life I feel like it's a very productive program that everybody should at least give it a try and it was enjoyable and it was something that I can hold myself accountable of doing everyday and I completed it with the certificate and I love to continue on doing it or maybe just starting over and doing it again

I really liked learning new mindfulness 'activities' as i have not been so successful in the past. it was nice to watch vidoes and hear 2 experts talk about mindfulness practices and be gently encouraged throughout the programme. I want to do it again to 'get it' so the fact we can keep accessing it is really important. i think also getting those emails made a really big impact on me as without them i might easily forget to go to the program.

A very helpful program to tackle negative feelings and emotions. It's a tool box that you adapt to your own problems and your own situation. I personally prefer the awareness of how I'm feeling and thinking along with meditation focusing on slow and deep breathing. It's been helpful for me and an eye opener and I'll continue to practice as part of my life.

I’ve found the Be Mindful program helpful for dealing with more general anxiety considerably worsened by a series of recent adverse life events. Despite taking 5 weeks rather than 4 to complete the program I’ve been successfully using the breathing practice in particular to help with anxiety in stressful scenarios. At times I did not find the program easy, but persevered, and am so glad. I now intend to go back and accces the videos in the library for regular practice, and explore the further resources listed on completion of the program. Thank you.

I was under stress when I started the programme. The practice of mindfulness acted as a kind of reset substantially reducing the anxiety I felt at the time and making me better able to take stress in my stride. Living mindfully also meant living with more of a sense of ease which also brought health benefits.
