Healthcare & Workplace
Thousands of people in healthcare and workplace settings have taken part in the Be Mindful course, with outstanding results! See the outcomes of all our course completers, and the published research evidence supporting the effectiveness of our online course.
We’re proud to partner with leading organisations in supporting their mental wellbeing initiatives with our evidence-based online mindfulness course. Read on to see how you might partner with us.
As the Be Mindful course includes all the elements of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), it can be offered to service users as a mindfulness intervention for depression and/or anxiety, as well as other long term conditions.
For NHS IAPT patients presenting with a mild to moderate level of depression and anxiety that meets the criteria for Caseness, the Be Mindful course achieves a Recovery rate of 70% - Significantly higher than the current average Recovery rate of 45% for all IAPT treatments delivered.
We are also a part of PRISM, which enables NHS clinicians and therapists to seamlessly and securely refer appropriate service users onto the Be Mindful course. All related progress notes are then transmitted directly back into the service user’s NHS record in IAPTus, the record management system used by around 70% of NHS IAPT services.
In the Workplace
With the Be Mindful course you can economically give all of your employees the opportunity to learn, practise and enjoy the benefits of mindfulness training in their home and work lives - in assurance that it follows the established and widely recognised MBSR structured format.
Be Mindful has been proven to significantly reduce levels of stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and work-related rumination, and improve sleep quality – with the potential to increase the resilience of your entire workforce and reduce stress-related absenteeism!
In a recent randomized waitlist control trial evaluating the effectiveness of the Be Mindful course on work-related factors, including affective rumination, chronic and acute fatigue, and sleep quality, the course was found to have a significant positive influence on all factors. See our research evidence here.
